My family and I had lunch there, the food was really good, the staff was very nice, The waitress checked on us periodically for refills and to make sure everything was going good, even the other waitress checked on everyone to make sure everything was OK and on the way out the cook said thanks for stopping by! when We walked in the restaurant it had a nice open space to it and was very nice .. Definitely would eat there again!

Ate lunch here while visiting for the weekend. Appetizers were ok, but were confirmed by staff to be food service products. Would be better if the fried pickles were made from scratch.
Lunch items ordered included burgers and reuben sandwiches. Burgers were cooked well but lacked seasoning. Salt would go a long way. (The menu claimed the burgers were made on site, they did not taste like it.) The reubens were ok, but were light on meat for what one would expect.
I noticed lobster on the menu. Don't know if I'd dare to go there.
Ambience is nice, even surprising. Had a relaxed, comfortable feel. Staff was friendly, but not terribly quick on speed or detail.
Overall, not a bad place but they have room for improvement in product quality and service delivery. I would go again to give them a second try. -

Awesome food, great service, this is a family place that feels like it's been around for ages . The layout is homey and the food is fresh and hot I had the ribeye steak sandwich that was out of this world. I see this being Emmetsburg #1 place to eat and hang out. Ot also has a full bar for this who like a cocktail during dinner. The daily specials are inexpensive. A nice inexpensive place that gives you more food then you can eat.
